En el tiempo que he estado viviendo en Fayetteville (Arkansas), he tenido la oportunidad de visitar un lugar precioso llamado Terra Studios. Terra Studios es un precioso parque lleno de estatuas muy peculiares, además de una Organización Sin Animo de Lucro que utiliza los beneficios obtenidos del parque para ayudar a 7 organizaciones de caridad infantil. El lema de la organización es: “Using art to create a better world" “Usando el arte para crear un mundo mejor”

During the time I've been living in Fayetteville (Arkansas), I have had the opportunity to visit a beautiful place called Terra Studios. Terra Studios is a beautiful park full of peculiar statues. In addition, it is a Non-profit organization that uses the profits of the park for helping to 7 children's charity organizations. The motto of the organization is: "Using art to create a better world"

El lugar es totalmente idílico. Está en un entorno natural con un lago en el centro y unos puentes preciosos que parecen haber sido sacados de un cuento. Me da la sensación, pero esto es mi opinión, que el lugar quiere hacer pensar al visitante que esta en un mundo de “Nomos”, ya que todas las estatuas tienen unas características similares a los Nomos y sobre todo, con muchas fantasía.

The place is absolutely idyllic. It is in a natural setting, with a lake in the center and beautiful bridges that seem to have been taken from a tale. I think, but this is my opinion, that the place wants to make visitors feel like if they were in a world of "Gnomes", since all the statues have similar characteristics to the gnomes and, of course, with a lot of fantasy.

Una cosa que también puede llamar la atención de este sitio es que, siendo super bonito e idílico, es totalmente gratuito. Solo llegas, aparcas tu coche y disfrutas del lugar. Además, hay varias mesas de picnic donde puedes llevarte tu propia comida, degustarla y disfrutarla en un entorno natural y rodeado de peculiares “Nomos”. Es realmente maravilloso.

Another thing that may call the attention of the visitor, it is the fact that, although the place is absolutely beautiful, it is also free. You only have to arrive there, park your car and enjoy the place. In addition, there are several picnic tables where you can take your own food, taste it and enjoy it, in a natural setting surrounded by peculiar "Gnomes". It is really wonderful.

Pero, ¿Entonces como se mantiene el lugar y colabora con las organzaciones infantiles? Pues muy fácil, por la preciosa tienda que tienen donde venden fantasticas figuras y artículos de decoración. Además, realizan clases de arte, exhibiciones de trabajo con cristal, entre otras actividades. Todo un trabajo artesanal hecho a mano. Además, reciben donaciones, ya que las actividades y el propósito de este lugar bien las merecen.

So, how this place is supported and how it collaborate with the children's organizations? Really easy, by the lovely shop that sells precious figures and decoration ornaments. Furthermore, they also conduct art classes, glass' work exhibitions, among other activities. Everything a handmade. They also receive donations, since the activities and purpose of this place, well deserve it.

The most famous object in the store, and also my favorite, is the Blue Bird of Happiness: A beautiful figure, made of cristal craft. This is what tells the little card that comes with it, when you buy one.
